This was four week trip to Patagonia and Tierra Del Fuego in Nov/Dec 2004. I flew to Buenos Aries and then
onto Ushuaia from where I worked my way up to Calafate for the return flight to Buenos Aries.
I mainly went to trek, so did a two dayer to the Albino glacier near Ushuaia as well as the 6 day Torres
Del Paine circuit (and 'W' valleys) and 5 days in the Fitzroy sector beneath Cerro Torre, Fitzroy and Cerro Electrico.
The scenery was spectacular with enormous sprawling glaciers and near vertical granite peaks - my favorite
type of terrain. Hopefully I will be able to post some practical advice in due course.
