Get in Touch....

A week long trip cycling over some of the legendary high mountain passes of 'Le Tour' - the biggest sporting event in the world, although us Anglo-Saxons struggle to appreciate this.

Based in Bourg d'Oisans - effectively the capital of cycling (near Grenoble), Matt and I had planned some pretty serious activities involving road cycling over the 'mythical Cols' of the Tour de France : Col du Glandon, Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Lautaret, the incomparable l'Alpe d'Huez and the biggie : the Col du Galibier at 2640 metres. The week also involved some snowboarding and mountain biking......pretty much perfect really. It was June....the sun was shining and the car was loaded with bikes and boards....strap me in !
